Analgesic antipyretic tablets are medications that relieve pain (analgesic) and reduce fever (antipyretic). They work by either reducing inflammation or by affecting how the brain perceives pain and by lowering the body temperature set point, respectively. Examples include aspirin, ibuprofen, and paracetamol (acetaminophen).
